Working Groups

Are you looking to become more involved in NCPP or cooperative purchasing? NCPP offers the opportunity to join one of the following volunteer committees:

Legislative Advocacy Working Group

Establish NCPP public policy positions, serve as the voice of NCPP on issues related to cooperative procurement, and review legislation to determine its impact on the industry.

Educational Outreach Working Group

Create, collaborate, and participate in educational materials, webinars, presentations, and outreach to support government and public procurement professionals in better understanding cooperative procurement.

Strategic Supplier Advisory Council

Suppliers, even though who compete in the marketplace, have similar issues and concerns when selling to government. This ad hoc team meets quarterly to receive NCPP updates and share information and strategies in tackling unique challenges across industries, as well as discuss ways to further leverage their awarded cooperative contracts. These members include representatives from: Doosan Bobcat, Cushman, Fastenal, Office Depot, OFS, ServiceWear Apparel, TORO, and WESCO.

Public Procurement Advisory Council

Comprised of public procurement professionals, serving as leaders for high performing government teams, this group meets to oversee educational initiatives and special projects to ensure relevancy, transparency and accountability. Those members include: Zulay Milan - Orange County, FL; Nathan Daou - City of Tucson, AZ, Maria Agrusa - Orange County, CA; Sylvester Donelson, Sacramento Housing Commision, CA; Rick Gay - Fort Bend ISD, TX; Melissa Lee, Tarrant County, TX; Bob Perkins, Ada County, ID; Beth Dooley - Fairfax Water Authority, VA, Lorriane Hein, BOCES, NY and Christine Grommons, Las Vegas Metro Fire Department, NV.
